ok i know this isn't tmpg. ReMPEG2 stops after 30 minutes of transcoding

i'm re-encoding shrek and on the main movie it just stops then says transcoding finished. it's obviously not done but i was wondering if there is some kind of work around i should do since i need the movie smaller to fit on a dvd-r

Do you reencode audio and video together?
If yes,try to just reencode one of them at the same time.

Buckonine,

You should not need too use ReMpeg2 for SHREK. It just fits on a DVD-R (movie only, no menus extras etc.)
