Hi

This is a very easy bit of software for newbies, I know it can handle VOB but has anybody here used it to backup movies.

This software creates all VTS & Video IFO files for you, all you have to do when you have finised authoring is burn it to your DVD-R.

Thx, in advance.

It created me lots of good compliant VCDs, but for DVDs, I really don't know.

You can take a look at the discussion forum about this product on www.roxio.com somewhere in the support section. But beware if you don't have a "good" copy, if you ask a question that is too much technical, they will ask you your informations and will check if you have *ahem* registered your product with them. But you will find alots of buddies in there that surely can help you :sly:

If I was able to do VCDs compliant, i'm sure you will be able to do good DVDs with this product. There is a good converter to make your movies compliant within VideoPack.

Sorry to not being able to help you more about that, since there isn't much people using this product yet ( or ever ? ). IMHO, since I have seen what DVDMaestro was able to give me, I will simply keep VideoPack to do VCDs, and between you and me, I hope "never" have to do VCDs again!!!! :D :D :D

Good luck :)

Hi

Many thanks to all for replys, have moved away from VideoPack5 good for vcd etc but limited for 1:1 DVD's, I am trying to get to grips with IFOEdit, this is a very good and unique prog, it does everything I want it to do, but is very complex, starting to get it around my head, SLOWLY, have to keep practicing?

Anyway thanks again for all the replys.
