Hi Doom9, its me again........i read your excelent article which compares all the best decrypters available, but at the end you said : "Wishes for the future:
There's several things I'd like to see in future rippers:
DVD Decrypter: can't think of anything right now.." ..........well, i donīt mind if the author add a command line format, because, as you know i am a fan of mpeg2avi and .bats......and i love smartripper for give me the option to extract the ac3 tracks at the same time with the video

(SmartRipper -Co "%1\%2\" -Cs "D:Subtitle*" "D:Video*" "F:Audio*" -So lumc -Cr -Cf -Cq),

so, whith a little program in C, could calculate the size that i could put in (Xvid desired size=size of cd - size of ac3 track)

I made 2 or 3 movies at night, while i sleep (have 2 dvd drives) and usually make a .bat to rip them, after compress audio with lame and at the end do the video stuff with m2a from Iker Rodriguez.

If you can contact the author of DVD Decrypter, suggest this please.....
Thanks for your articles and support Doom9.
Alx.

PS. BTW, the quality of Xvid is getting serious....canīt wait for B-Frames on it, but, for me, right now without it, is better than DivX5.

You could just ask me yourself!

Someone in the #doom9 channel on efnet have also asked for command line stuff. Im not sure if it will be possible to do this or not, due to the way in which it works. Basically, I made dvd decrypter a gui program because that is the way everything is heading and that is the way 99.9% of its target audience will use it.
For the mean time at least, if you want to use DVD Decrypter, you will have to click a few bits here and there to get the output you require. Sorry :(
It would mean adding additional complexity to the program for only a handful of people....Im short on free time as it is, so major updates either have to wait a while or never get done.

well lightning uk, really thanks for your answer.......i donīt ask you directly, first because i donīt know that you were around, and in second place, because my english sucks :)
Its a shame what you said about lack of free time, but anyway, i really thinks DVD Decrypter is one of the best rippers.
Keep the good work.....
Alx.
