Hi

I've just downloaded my first xvid movie (I think!!). It is Jas*n and the Argo****. I want to put it on a DVDR like I have been doing with other Divx movies. Can someoen point me in the right direction for how to split this movie so I can re-encode with tmpgenc and re-author with scenarist.

You may. Thank you. I had already searched but not found an answer.

Now can someone help please?

I have used Graphedit (never used before) and I now have two separate files - a video and audio file. Both play in Media Player. tmpgenc can quite happily re-encode the video (or so it seems) into VCD or DVD compliant form but nothing seems to like the audio file. tmpgenc gives "error occured when ACM initialized". What software do I need to turn the audio file into a file that can be used. I guess it is an ogg file but all the guides seem to talk about converting to ogg rather than from ogg which is what I want.

Thanks

_go over to the "new a/v formats" forum and look around a little. if it's not answered yet in the FAQ you'll find many many threads about that on the first 2-3 pages._

Since you refuse to _use_ the search (if you really did use it you'd found at least 10 threads explaining the same thing) I'll strike you herewith.
