Hi All,

I hope someone can help me.

I ripped a movie I hired from the video shop the other day all went ok until I clicked get VTS Sectors within IFO Edit. It said it had corrected the file but when I try to launch the movie from Power DVD4.0 I get a obsure error with loads of fff0000000000 in it.

I have returned the dvd now and would like to re-create this file. Is there a way I can make the IFO files from just the VOB's?

Thanks Morgano

I didn't see only once Get_VTS damaging an IFO.
Perhaps a bad writing on your disk.

Did you test to save your ifo and copy one from the .bup, which a backup ?

you have a create ifo's button in ifoedit.
it will recreate a brand new set of ifo file.

Ifoedit cannot create new ifos if you don't have the old ifos. Try this guide on how to create new ifos with just the vobs.

Yes, IfoEfit has a create IFO feature but it's only for the main movie (you loose menu etc..) and you have to take care of color problem for subtitles (IFoedit put 00 00 00... for sub colors, you need to get value back from the original IFO and edit with an Hex editor)
You also need to name audio and sub stream or you will have "unknown" displayed for every stream.
