Hmm, u didnt say much about the other settings u were using. But u might wanna play around with Payback Delay /or set BR to bias.
Cheers

im leaving drfs at 2,16 and kf at 2,16 to let nandub adjust the drf levels..why limit myself to certain drf? (maybe im mistakin)..im using min bitrate of 0 ..and have tried 360 or 400 ..neither work..using modulatoin based curve mod of 0 and symetric compression of 25... everything else is pretty much default i believe

Try setting down the drf under 10, the lower u get - the better vid qual it can give.

Try:
for motion under 50: min: 2, max 4
for motion under 100: min: 3, max: 6.
In the DRF settings. It's safe to leave the rest at (When motion over 300).
Try tweaking the DRF's a little. It's hard, and you may have to re-encode a few times, but it does result in higher quality, if done properly.
