Hi

I am in the process of converting some divx movies to MPEG2 so I can put them on a DVD_RW or DVD-R and watch them on my standalone player. I would like to get at least 2 on each disc with a simple menu. Although I have managed to produce DVD complinat audio and video files using vdub and tmpgenc, the final vobs (out of scenarist) are above (4.3GB/2) - in other words I can only get one on a DVD. I guess I need to mess with the settings in tmpgenc to restrict the size but I am not sure how. Currently I load the demuxed AVI and load the appropriate template (PAL or NTSC DVD). This automatically chooses "constant quality" and pretty much nothing else can be changed. Which of the other options (CBR,VBR) should I use? Can I influence the final file size with this? What bitrate should I aim for and how do you set it?

Any help appreciated
