Would it be a mistake to buy DVD+RW / DVD+R Drive?

Would it be a mistake to buy a DVD+RW / DVD+R Drive? I know DVDR is the main format, and it does seem to be a lot harder to buy DVD+RW / DVD+R disks, I don't think DVD+RW / DVD+R is gonna make it myself. Would this drive burn DVDR? I mean is DVD+R and DVDR the same disks?

DVD-R/W and DVD+R/W are incompatible.. you'll find a thread that lists pretty much all pros and cons in the general discussion forum. The drives you can currently buy will never be able to burn the other format.

though.. I wouldn't say it's a mistake.. it's just a buying decision like any other.. make sure you read that thread (forum search comes in handy.. to give you the link I'd have to use it myself but I like to get everyone to use the search engine more;)
