I ripped a DVD that had angle 1 & 2 on chapter 3 with DVDDecrypter. I used File Mode and just ripped the main movie and IFO file. I selected MultiAngle processing and selected Angle 1. So the VOB files only have angle 1. When I load the IFO file in IFOEdit, there is still a reference to both angles. but all of the guides that mention stripping the extra angles say that it processes the VOB files. I just want to get to a point where I can change the IFO file only so that I can use it to create the TMPG Template. Does the Template generation use the IFO file to generate this, or does it just scan the VOB files (which are no longer multiangle) and generate the template? If it does this, then I should be ok. I am just afraid that the reference to the other angle in the IFO file will screw up the template generation. BTW, I am not going to remux to this IFO file, I just thought it was better to use the original GOP structure instead of having TMPGEnc look for scene changes.
