Okay, bear with me here I am a semi-newbie.
I first use ifo to get rid of all extras and then tmpeg to downsize the movie then ifo edit to remux. I did this with my old setup with the matrix and everything went fine. I have now upgraded to dual system and reinstalled win2k. I am having major problems when I go to remux. I have tried 3 movies now, (casino, braveheart, and blackhawk down), but I always have the same result. I have tried all versions, .88, .90, and .91 and every time the movie begins to play fine for a few seconds and then the rest of it is frame to frame stills with no audio. This occurs with both the built in dvd player and power dvd. I have also tried downloading each version different times. I thought it was something I was missing until tonight. I was using version .91 and when it was completed to my surprise the video was perfectt, but now I had a new problem...the audio gets more and more out of sync as the movie goes on. Just out of curiosity I remuxed the exact same m2v with version .88 with the exact same settings and it produced the same choppy end result as before. Why would the same program with the same task give me two totally different results? I have no idea what is going on or where to begin to look for the solution. I do know that I follow the guides to a T and as I said before I was sucessful with the matrix before the upgrade.
