I have read and followed the guide for this without success due to lockups, etc. I am trying to copy one dvd9 to a dvd5. I cannot get the menu editing to work because the program locks up. I have ripped the dvd and can burn the video just fine, but the audio gets choppy and increasingly out of sync when viewed in a dvd player. Mpeg on the pc is fine though.

Ripped with smartripper, but what do I need to use to convert the audio to a usable format. It is currently 48khz, but I have made 3 coasters already and I wanted some expert help to rectify this problem.

Thanks.

OK.
From my guess it qualifies for the IfoEdit forum.
First of all try searching that forum for this kind of problems. I am sure there have been people posting about your problem.
Second - just for the future - remember to post all your settings and progs used. It will help a lot.
And I will move this thread to the IfoEdit forum.

take care

I used dvd decryptor and smartripper on different occasions for ripping, Ifoedit, dvd2avi, tmpg, and vobrator all per the guide. I am not sure that this is really an ifoedit problem since I only need to re-encode the audio track, but if I knew what I was doing I wouldn't be posting a message here.

Thanks.
