hello,

i was looking for a guide/tutorial for M4C and the use of mpeg4 v2/v3 with this technology.

I have browse the net, but the only result i have found for AviUtl & Co was all japanese, and a french one (which does not respond to my question)

i know there is a lot of other soft better than this one (SBC, Xvid,i play with this all days ;) ) , but it's just for my personal knowledge...

with AviUtl and M4C, the file I obtain is not valid.

In my search, i might have understand than doom9 had got a guide on m4c , but it's looks like it's removed :(

hope somebody have something helpfull ^^

thanks.

PS: don't know if it's the right forum to post this...don't hesitate to move this where it should be.

Hi bill_baroud!

You have done the SoulTaker opening in RM yet? :)

well about the m4c, use the lastest aviutil and install divx3.11 also the original mpeg4 hacks, the .3920 is the last build that i have. and when saving(in aviutil) use the output-plugin->m4c lotus(if you dont have this option, may be that i download that plugin from somewhere... just e-mail me and i will send it to you)
i am impressed with the results over the chobits_op with a bitrate of 500k!, the internal control over the codec is good, the filesize final is about 10.5meg and no blocks!

test and share your results!

strange...thx for the response first ;)

but when i use the M4C plugin, the file i obtain is not valid, WMP don't recognize it (unknow format or damage i think).

but i'm not very sure i have the latest mpeg4 binaries.

and sorry for the test, my last exam is in 2 hours so i'll do it after that ;)
