VOB to AVI ?

Does anyone know the best tool to convert a vob file to avi?
I then want to use the avi with TMPGEnc and reduce the size of it.

I have used DVD2AVI and it works just fine. Check the guides on this site for instructions as well as the download. You can also check vcdhelp.com. With DVD2AVI, you can import your output file directly into TMPGE (with VFAPI Installed) Do a search in these forums (or doom9.org). Hope this helps.
