I downloaded Star Wars - A New Hope, framerate is 25fps (pal), progressive. After DVD2SVCD processing the resulting svcd has choppy video playback. The original avi source does not appear to be choppy. I did not convert it from pal to ntsc so I know the problem isn't there.

Has anyone else tried a pal source star wars avi?

I have done a search for choppy video and read everything I could find so don't flame me.

Thnx

I played the cce encoded mpv file back on my pc and the video is not choppy as with svcd playback on stand alone.

I had an issue sorta like this from an AVI. Try this.
Start recover, change DVD2SVCD to advanced mode, go to the bbmpeg tab, click advanced settings, a popup window should appear, uncheck Add SVCD scan offsets, hit continue from muxing and cutting.

I have no idea what this does, but when I made a video out of a downloaded BlackHawk down this was the only thing that would make it work on my DVD player.
