16/9 and 4/3 options

When I have anamorphic DVD I get bad result (With syncro A/V) if I mantain the 4/3 aspect, (no borders, encoded as 4/3).
So I am force to use the other option. But I have 16/9 tv set....
Is there a way to correct this?

Problems with the 16:9 no borders encode as 16:9 are common. That is why it has been removed to the Advanced section.
I have never heard of A/V sync issues, but video issues like jittery/shaky picture are common. It's the fault of the DVD player not supporting the flag.
