but never try it.

I think it's still on heavy development.

The XviD part isn't touched. It's more-or-less a merge of libavcodec and xvid - which should make more harm than good.

You should stick with the codecs as "standalone" solutions.

not sure why its more harm then good it appears the xvid user interface and 2-pass bitrate control is used thats about it as far as i can see

Anyway i grabbed latest ffmpeg cvs and integrated it into a new dll for ffvfw as the current build seemed quite old http://www.ecs.soton.ac.uk/~del100/ffvfw.dll just put it in you windows system dir after installing the ffvfw binary if your interested in testing. Also shouldnt this thread be moved to the new a/v format forum as its not strictly xvid related.
