I am only a casual dvd2svcd user, not making full movies, just assembling trailers and commercials in svcd. I've been using it so far without any troubles, excellent tool :) I tried to encode the trailer from "The Pledge" and I now don't get any video in the final muxed mpeg. Audio plays ok, but instead of video there is just a message saying "avisynth caught an access violation at 0x0ca825db, attempting to read from 0x0cb99076".
I checked the avisynth dll version in the d2s subfolder: it is v1.0.7.4 Never touched any of the reg files in that folder, I guess d2s automatically registers the dll during setup. I checked the avs file with WiMP and it plays ok (although terribly stretched vertically, but I presume this is normal, isn't it?)
I uploaded the d2s log, the avs script and the d2s ini (the one inside the d2s folder) as a small zip file here (http://users.forthnet.gr/ath/harryfou/dvd2svcd_log.zip). Btw, I noticed that there is also a second dvd2svcd.ini file in the default project folder i:\svcd that I'm using during the encoding, but not the same content as that one in the d2s folder. Is this normal?
Any idea?
