I downloaded the last riff-cdxa-filter and the GUI by ubik29.
I want to create a mp3-cd.

The created iso, mounted in Daemon, plays just fine. Great work.

The programm refuses to create an iso (containing mp3), unless I add a movie (or something) in the lower box. Itīs says "Please select a movie file". (I do not want the Iso to contain a movie, though.)

Why is that? Is this a bug, or am I just stupid.

As far as I understood the guide by doom9 on the matter and what you said, you put the mp3 files in the upper box, which makes your cd not a mode2 cd at all (well it kinda does, but all mp3 files are burnt mode1 which means you could have done it with nero). You'd have to put them in the movie section to make them mode2.

But this might be utter wrong, just speaking from reading the guide, not from trying out myself.

That's right. Only "Movie" files are burned as Form2, and they do not need to be movies but any multimedia format is OK, provided it's supported by the filter.

I have read the guide again. Eventually I got it.
There no point to use the mode2 CD-Maker without using the mode2-feature.

Thank you for your help.
