Variable ac3 bitrate?

Hi...
I ripped a movie and tried to reauthor in Spruce.....

At 99% in reading the ac3 DD5.1 file ...Spruce says there is an inconsistent bitrate...and fails the ac3 import.


Any ideas?

Hi,

I had a few probs importing ac3 into spruce. ran the ac3's through ac3fix and it worked but:

1) there might have been sync issues (ac3delay might be able to fix this)
2) i cant remember the specific error, but I dont think it was variable bit rate related

still, may be worth a try if nothing else helps :)
