When I try to process a 4:3 AVU source it comes out as 16:9 when I use CCE. I used TMPG and it came out fine, but it took three times longer. Does anyone know what settings I need to have to prevent CCE from changing the aspect ratio.
Thank You,
-Rob

Yes, i've got the same situation (with tmpgenc and cce). Very strange. Maybe some wrong parameters are sent to cce? U now - most movies are 16:9. So i use cce in most cases and tmpgenc in 4:3 case. It's not very annoyng to me, but it will be beter to use 1 encoder. Have read in other threads , that many of us have noticed this malfunction, but it wasn't any good solution offered how to do with it( or i have not found it?).Any fresh ideas?

you're going to have to edit the avs file, try using the "Search" button, there's quite a few threads on this.

Hi there,
as I usually don't use TMPGEnc I don't know why conversions done with it come out correctly and done with CCE not. I guess it has to deal with TMPGEncs "Video arrange Method" used but don't know for sure.
If you want to use CCE, then you have to edit the Avisynth script as pacohaas already mentioned. See the Q&A (Q62) for more on that - hey, it's there for a special reason. ;)
Hope this helps,
Gerti
