Multiple Ripping Program Hangs

I am having the following problem when attempting to rip a DVD using DVDDecrypter 3.1.0.0 & Smartripper. Both programs seem to run fine for a the first couple of VOB files, but the progs seem to get starved by the Windows OS, causing it to hang doing nothing. I seem to have a semi-solution to this by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del once, and hitting cancel(NOT END TASK, then the ripper goes back to doing what it does. Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem and have found a better solution. Thanks. :angry:

hmm...that is an interesting one.

It might seem like a pain, but in all honesty, I'd just go for a complete rebuild of the OS. Format ur drive and start again. There is obviously something dodgy going on that shouldnt be.
