View Full Version : AC3Machine capable of transcoding to 2-channel AC3?

title says all. Did i miss this and AC3Machine can already do this? The files it creates right now even when downmixing to stereo are always 5.1.
I had to choose between MP2 and AC3 and would rather take AC3.
Followed DOOM9's new ac3 guide to test this...

you're right! AC3 sources were always encoded at 5.1 . should be fixed in v1.4b4.
btw, i advise you to add "-g max" to your -azid( ) section ;).
