Most flexable DVD player to buy

OK ... so far I've made one Movie as an SVCD and downloaded another as a DivX. Ultimately I'd like to be able to play my new vids on a stand alone unit instead of my Computer screen. What DVD player is best for playing different formats?

Thanx I think I decided on the apex ad-1000 but all I'm finding in the stores is the ad-1100w. is it as good?

had a apex ad-1000, sold it to a friend, just went out today & bought me an apex -ad1100W...excellant i must say...plays everything i throw into it...for $68.00 (wallyworld)it cannot be beat!:p

Thanks for your help guys. I did buythe D-1100w yesturday. went to 2 differents Wal-Marts to find a 1MB unit because I will be hooking it up through the VCR. Thought I would try it our though before installing the upgrade. and it seemed to play the DVDS fine already. Is it because I can select different video input sources on my VCR or because someone else already tried to upgrade it? (It did look like it might have left the store and come back.)
