splitting avi problem

I made a matrix rip for 2 cds. The whole file is 1.4 Gb. I´ve read all the guides about how split avi files and decided virtual dub was the best. I've done the exact steps that were told on the guide but somehow both files get sound sync problems. Does anybody know why? Please Help me!!

If your file has VBR mp3 sound you need to use Nandub to split.

For one make sure you are cutting on a key frame. But to me, an easier way to split files is to use AviSplitCalc. You can split either by filesize or by movie time. You will find it under the Support Utils on the d/l page.
