I'm trying to rip "10 Things I Hate About You". I'm using Gknot and I've followed the guide, but I end up with async audio. The video plays before the sound, therefore I would want to use a negative number, right? The audio is in AC3, and it's set at -290ms, which is what's in the file name. I haven't changed the framerate or anything.

I've tryed using Doom9's manual audio guide, but I can't make any sense of it. When I preview, it doesn't play audio, so there's no way I can tell how to change the settings.

I can't afford to guess on my settings, encode for 2 hours, and then find out I was off, and redo over and over. I've already tried twice with no luck.

Can anybody help me? Plz.

BTW: I've ripped Fight Club the same way and used AC3 and the audio and video was in sync just fine.

I can't afford to guess on my settings, encode for 2 hours You don't have to reencode just to change the delay. Just load the .avi in vdub and select Direct Copy for both video and audio then set the delay. It will be a lot quicker than 2 hours.
