Well,

I'm getting a little upset since I coded a small tool helping the stability of that driver, but neither doom9 anounced it or Cart made it available...

seems I'm coding for nothing.

Well, sorry to do this, but I don't feel welcome anymore.

Bye,
Koepi

I don't know about them, but I'm very interested :) What does it do? edit: nevermind, I've already checked the Capture forum.

Well, check out this thread:

http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=24710&pagenumber=2

I uploaded it to my homepage now.

This isn't meant insulting, but in >8 hours without any feedback I lost my temper.

Sorry.

don't you think that you're overreacting, my friend?
Be quiet, I've installed btwincap, and the hungs came as expected, so I used your little tool and it works without probs. great app :)

What do you think I feeel. I've also coded a nice movie catalog with quite nice technical features and I've been asking doom9 for month to add it to his news page to get some more feedback. Nothing happened either and I've been asking myself all the time if it really was worth the work.

@Koepi (mainly):
it always depends on the attitude you have when writing software, i guess... (really appreciate your work on xvid btw)
when i write things (vStrip, wavelet kompressor, whatever) i do it for ME. that's it. if i think someone else can get anything out of it, i'll release it. and yes, i'm giddy to get feedback when i release a new version of (whatever), but if i don't get any it doesn't really matter because i wrote it for myself anyway.

if you know what i mean... and just MHO ;)
