Quick trick to replace avimux with oggmux?

Hi,

I wonder if it's possibile to replace in directshow the Avi muxer with Ogg-Muxer,
(maybe replacing the CLSIDs ?) in order to make it (the OGM muxer) more usable in programs such as VirtualDub that don't support it natively.

I premit I don't know anything about windows programming, so sorry if
this question is stupid :) .

No this does not work this way, in fact VirtualDub does not make use of DirectShow to read input files and this is the reason why it does not support OGG files at the input.

On the other side any tool DS-aware should support any DS supported format out-of-the-box. There are rumours VitrualDub 2.0 will work this way.
