I have been attempting to use GKnot and add one of the subtitle streams to the Phantom Menace. GKnot uses VirtualDub to do this.
When I attempt to set up the subtitles VirtualDub identifies avaliable streams like this:
00-English
01-English
02-English
03-English
04-Espanol
05-Espanol
06-English
07-English
However an earlier version of VirtualDub identifies avallable streams like this:
00-English
01-English
02-Espanol
03-English
I go through the extract and then try to encode the movie using the 03-English and no subs are added. The only streams that add subs are 00 and 01, the full English subs.
I have used Subrip and Subrip identifies the streams 00-03 as does the old version of VirtualDub. Subrip correctly extracts 03 above but then Gknot will not use it in Subrip format or any of the available .sub formats.
Can anyone tell me why the latest VirtualDub doubles the stream number and will not correctly find the stream during encoding? I have even tried recompressing the movie with subtitles and once again 00- and 01 are the only usable ones.
Any help appreciated !
