sync in WMP

I encoded a movie with divx 5 codec in Gknot w/o bubtitles. The problem is that the sound got a huge delay in WMP, and for some reason looks ok on divx player.... why is that?

What version of media player are you using? I use v6.4 since I've heard that v7 causes many problems like this.

Yeah Mac... I´m actually using media player that comes with windows xp, it´s probably 7.xx. So you are usin 6.4 and never got problems like this?? Ok I´ll try to download that version... Btw, have you seen the log I´ve posted on Gknot´s forum? You asked me to post it there so you could help me with my problems with oversizing... actually I just solved that problem (tanx to twinux) , it was a frame rate prob. But anyways, thanx alot again for your attention!

6.4 is already there. Check Program Files\Windows Media Player, it's called mplayer2.exe
