i ripped the movie "freddy got fingered" ntsc version the other day using dvd2svcd & it only took like 1/2 hr. complete...so curious as i am i burned it to disc anyhow, when i played it in my standalone player all i had was a still picure & some soundtrack that lasted about 3 mins. - is the movie protected somehow?
i have ripped several to svcd & have never found this problem.:confused:

most likely the ripping process went wrong. which method do you use?

there is a dedicated dvd2svcd-basic forum to post. read the stickies at the top of that forum before you do

use dvd2svcd, burn to disc w/ cdrwin...

i deleted all the files & moved onto another movie with no problems, but i plan to try that movie again here in a few days, (hopefully before TMPGEnc 2.5a expires on me...if i have problems again i will post it then.
