I have sucessfully burned a few dvds to svcds using the program dvd2svcd.
However, the first dvd burns fine. But if I dont delete the vob, bbmpeg, cue, bin files, the second dvd disc one is ok, but the disc 2 is the cue-bin files from the first dvd...and and the second dvd goes to try0_cue file, which works fine, but is annoying.
So, is it necessary to delete all the cue-bom,vob,bbmpeg, etc files before starting a new dvd copying process?

why is this an issue? is there a reason to keep these files? why don't you use different folders for different dvd's?
it's always wise to post in the dedicated dvd2svcd-basic forum

Sorry, I am a newbie.
I leave the settings just as they are, and hit go!
So the DVD2SVCD program puts the vob files, bbmpegs, and cue-bin files in the movie folder of the dvd2svcd folder.
This is fine for the first DVD.
But the second DVD overwrites some of the files in the movie folder but not the others.
For exampe, the VOB files are not overwritten, but the cue-bin file for the first SVCD are, but the second SVCD goes to try0 cue-bin.
I think it would be easy to send them to a new folder instead of the movie folder for each DVD, but I am not sure where to do that withouf messing up all the programs which may have trouble finding them.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

1) as soon as you have burned the image files the obvious thing to do would be to delete everything (of course not before checking the result)
2) in the dvd2svcd misc-tab you can change the output folder ("default output folder")
i hope i'm making sense here :)
