My computer is instantly and spontaneously restarting by itsself when using command line based tools such as 2lame and pulldown.exe. I have no idea why....any one else experienceing th4ese problems.. I hope.
Anyone know of any other way to add 29.97 riff headers to an mpeg-2 file besides pulldown.exe?

Give a detailed configuration of your computer hardware and software. Also did you try running the commandline from your DOS prompt manually?

Encode in TMPG, thats the only pulldown alternative I know of. If you have 3:2 pulldown when playback selected in the encode mode box it will do the same as applying pulldown.exe to a CCE encoded stream. What OS are you using? This is a very strange problem indeed...

-edit- ah, I forgot! 100th post, hooray! break out the sparkling cider! :D

Yes tried manually running it. At this point I'm thinking Its a fualty power supply, but it only happens when I run toolame, and pulldown, and I do have a 300W PS. Still at a loss....

I have my mpeg-2 streams already completed I don;t want to use a slightly(imho) inferior and slower encoder(TMPEG). No offence I use it sometimes too. But I don't feel like re-encoding

Try running the Prime95 torture test and/or memtest86. If your system is a little flaky these should make the system show it. Both of those tools you mentioned are fairly disc and memory intensive so it could be just about anything, including a bad PSU.
