After several tests please read my results:

The source is:

OGM containing:
- AVI DivX 5.02
- Ogg Vorbis 5.1 Sound
- SubRip Subtitles

My Hardware is:
- VIA KT133A
- Athlon XP 1700+
- SB Live 5.1 + 2200 Software 5.1 Speakers
- Windows XP Pro
- ZoomPlayer v2.60

While using OggSub v1.1.2.2
- I get shity Aspect Ratio (even if I use 4:3 or 16:9)
- I can not disable - enable subtitles, they are always there.
- The subtitles do not look good (too many pixels)

While using VobSub v2.14
- I get CORRECT aspect ratio
- I can not disable - enable subtitles, they are always there.
- The subtitles look perfect, rounded, high resolution.
- I CAN DISABLE / ENABLE subtitles from the green vobsub arrow on the taskbar.

WHILE USING BOTH FILTERS:

BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH!!! And I have to install / uninstall the OggSub filter every time I want to use OggMux... GRRRRRR

Any ideas?

First of All, disable & enable is possible in oggsub, just rightclick on movie, you have to use WMP 6.4, not 7 or 8(incompatible with oggds, plus very slow)!
WHY USE ZOOMPLAYER? Just stick with good old wmp 6.4 or wait for POWERDIVX 4:p

Moreover,I think it's time for a clean re-install of your system. Normally using both subtitle filters at once results in no subs, but nor in BSOD!

I just installed Windows XP and believe me I know how to do so. Windows Media Player is OK but I love ZoomPlayer. PowerDivX 4 (I am a beta tester) is very very nice.

I got BSOD no matter the player...
