View Full Version : Output or convert SSA to SMPTE timecode?

I see that SubStation Alpha has an option for SMPTE timecode, but it seems to be greyed out. What's up with that? If SSA can't output SMPTE, is there a utility out there that can covert the scripts? Ideally, I'd like to convert it to something ADR Manager can read.

Well, it seems that SSA does output a sort-of-SMTPE format when exporting to Captions Inc. Problem is, it doesn't round up the number properly (e.g. it lists 30 in the frames section sometimes).
