I am running VDub 1.4.10 and loaded a DivX 5 movie that has an AC3-5.1CH audio track. I tried the usual Audio Full processing save WAV file but get the following error:

The requested Audio compression is not compatible with the input format. Check the sampling rate and channel count of the Input match those of the requested format.

Please help me extracting the audio because I want to convert it into a SVCD and author it on a DVD. Normally I convert the WAV file with Softencode into an AC3 file but can't get this one to extract.

Thanks

I tried the usual Audio Full processing save WAV file but get the following error:
Don't put it on Full Processing, but keep it on Direct Stream Copy. I didn't know Save WAV was that picky, but obviously it is.

I tried the Direct Stream Copy no error but 0Kb file. In the end I did use the all in one program DVD2SVCD and ticked the AVI2SVCD radial button and low and behold it extracted the AC3 file and from the log it looks like it used BeSweet.

Thanks anyhow,
