Im having a problem with my wav file that DVD2AVI made for me. Im using the SmartRipper, DVD2AVI, TMPGEnc method of converting DVDs to mpeg so i can make VCDs from them. I had no problems with SMartRipper and it seems like no problems with DVD2AVI, i select the d2v and wav file in TMPGEnc to make my MPEG file and i have no problems there, but when it finishes there is video in my MPEG but there is no audio, WINAMP can play my wav file no problem. Here is my wav files properties:

Bit Rate 1411kbps
Audio Sample Size 16bit
Channels 2
Audio sample rate 44kHz
Audio format PCM

ive made many VCDs with my DVD2AVI settings, but it doesnt seem to make the wav file for this movie properly! Thanks for the help!
Hope someone can help me with my situation!

You could try to just extract the audio with DVD2AVI to an .ac3 file and then compress it to wav with Besweet or whatever program of your liking. Better?

thanks N_F, I think i figured out what my problem was, think that my wav file was over the maximum length, im thinking a 2.5gig wav file is too big for TMPGEnc, cause i re-extracted the the audio with ac3decode, and used sound forge to merge all 7audio files (vob_1.wav to vob_7.wav)into one big audio file, the smaller ones worked, but again the larger one did not! Man this is going to really suck, since i have to somehow manage to get the subtitles working! Nothing like the excitement of a 8hour movie! Thanks again for the help! Wish me luck! =)
