Does anyone know if you can put a few VCD converted Avi's onto DVD-R/RWs? I've got a DVD-RW and some free DVD-RW/R's and was wondering if I could use that for more space then just a normal 700 meg cdr. And that would be playable in a normal DVD player.
I think I wasted 500 dollars getting a stupid DVD-RW drive. All I can do right now is make 4.2 gig floppy DVDs that can only store files. They actually SAY 4.7 but its really 4.2. Whoop-tee-doo I can make my own DVD movies... what am I going to do make some stupid homemovie? I can't even backup my dvd collection I have which was the BIG reason I spent the extra money for it.
It won't be a total loss if I can take anime shows and turn them into a format that a DVD player can play. I could take anime shows like Berserk and play them on widescreen and not my 17" monitor. Although I don't even know how to do it. I just can't turn the avi's into mpeg's and expect it to work. Right?
Can I turn them into VCDs and have them work. But isn't that the same thing as making them into mpegs? ...
