i know i saw this question somewhere else on this forum the other day, but i cannot find it now & it might be a dumb one...so, here it goes:

i borrowed a movie off my friend, i have to return it soon & do not have time to hang on to it until i get a "complete (s)vcd made of my own.
my question is:
if i use dvd2scvd to rip it to a separate folder as only .vob files, can i come back to it later & finish the task?
will i get a complete rip?

gues what i am really asking is that once you get the .vob files, do you really need the original dvd disc in your rom?

thanks in advance.

Sure, you can return the dvd. Just rip the dvd with the internal ripper. When you want to continue simply select the ifo file from within DVD2SVCD and off you go.
