I was just wondering if there are any files that are safe to delete once I get to the mpeg encoding stage. I had 10 GB of space and am down to 1.2 GB and I am only 38% through the tmpgenc stage. I have the images going to another hard drive but everything up to that point is going to the 10 Gig. I am not sure if I have enough space and if I don't what can I remove. I could not find information on this anywhere so hopefully I didn't just miss it as I don't want to waste anyones time. Any help would be appreciated.

i assume my answer is way too late for you,
but should this ever happen again...

why don't you just delete the contents of \temp directory
and depending your OS, this might be under windows or
current user's home dir.

and you can alway clear the cache for your web browser
or compress your mail folder (again depends on your
email client, whether this helps a lot or not at all).

Thanks for the info, but I am actually doing this on another partition and was wondering if I would be able to remove some of the files that dvd2svcd created.

You could try ripping only half of the movie using "internal routines" and doing the conversion this way to save space , obvisiously this will take twice as long but will save space , or you could deselect " don't delete any files" in the misc tab and try that , but you won't be able to use the "recover " option if it fails.
Hope this helps
