I just got XMPEG 4.5, I used to use 4.2a which worked fine until I put 4.5 onto it. Now 4.5 can't even open my MPEG video, just doing nothing .....
I heard that I need to uninstall XMPEG and reinstall 4.5. How do I uninstall XMPEG 4.5 and clean up all my XMPEG registries ?
Thanks for reply ...

delete the xmpeg folder
use regedit and search for xmpeg and delete all the entries u can find ('search function' might come in handy here ;) )

Hello,
I also can't get XMPEG 4.5 to work. So I keep using 4.2 which doesn't differ that much...esspecially if you already using a codec like CCE.
Whatever Ifo, Vob, Mpeg I try to open, xmpeg4.5 keeps stopping and closing itself. Not even trying to read the file.
Strange because I use the same files, system, files into the directory as for 4.2a, 4,1c, 0.6, 0.594 and Xis 3.0e. And all files are renamed to the needed extentions .flask or .xmpeg
4.2 is good enough for me and maybe a new version will support my system again ;-)

I too had trouble getting Xmpeg to work with the thunder.mism plugin for flask. But I found dvd.mism.xmpeg on a german site and now I'm happy to report xmpeg 4.5 is opening my dvd decrypter generated .ifo files and I'm encoding quite swiftly Divx 5.02 for me and using the lsx plugin to go to SVCD for my loser coworkers who aren't cool enough to have a HTPC. I can't remember the site but found by searching google for 'xmpeg plugins' If you can't find it email me and I'll send it to you.
