Hey y'all, can anybody give me a hint how I can take an Mpeg (VCD-Format) and just re-encode the audio to MP3? My beloved VobSub cannot direct stream the Mpeg-Video-Stream, so I am a bit lost.
Thx!

demultiplex the mpeg file in TMPGEnc, then open your MP2 in BeSweet and transcode it to MP3 (I don't even know if BeSweet can do this :D)
My method would be:
1) decode the MP2 file to WAV in WinAmp
2) Open the WAV in RazorLame and encode to MP3

Sorry for interfering.
I did not try that, but I'm pretty sure that BeSweet can decode MP2 and reencode to MP3...

And Lame also.
I reencode the mp2 demuxed by TmpgEnc, directly in lame.
