Forum rule 9 and 12 both broken here.
9)do not use special characters to draw attention to your post
12)Do not ask "what's best" because this question cannot be answered objectively. Each and everyone has their own view about what's best in a certain area. The best is what works best for you!
You have already asked this question once. Why don't you read around the forum some and do some tests on your own. There are plenty of posts in the DVD2SVCD advanced forum with many settings to try. Nobody is going to hand hold you through this. Take some time read up and do some tests. If you have specific questions about something that hasn't been asked before or maybe you still don't understand it then we will be happy to help. What we don't do is tell you exactly what you should use other then the defaults simply because everyone's idea of good is different. I have done over 200 encodes simply for testing purposes, but I doubt you can use my full settings since my DVD player plays way out of the SVCD spec and I encode for it, but I did post most of my results and I am not going to repeat them since that post is still on the first page of the DVD2SVCD advanced forum.
Doing a single chapter and CDRW discs are both wonderful tools.
I can think of 2 posts I made myself that lists many settings. Both are in the DVD2SVCD advanced forum. Go ahead and read the guide on doom9.org, the Q + A and the Guide and FAQ located in the DVD2SVCD basics forum.
