IfoEdit not playing a file, says the player is the wrong region

I have split a dvd in two and then attempted to play a file to find out the title set. Unfortunatley, I get a screen saying that the player is the wrong region to play it. My OS is Windows XP and I have already used the region free option, which did not work.
