Hi,
I have a little problem... i encoded a video with GKnot 0.26 and Divx 5.0.2 Pro and the result was excelent, i cut the video in 2 (to fit 2 80 min cd) and the first half was ok, but the second half was weird, it started ok, but if i move the slider it freezes... i tried with FlaskMpeg and Divx 5.0.2 and had no problem... Then i tried GKnot 0.26 with Divx 5.0.1 and it was ok.. no cutting problems. Is it a bug from the codec or the GKnot?
One suggestion is a field to choose the max keyframe interval, the default to me is to long.. i had to cut 2 movies in the middle of a action scene because of it. I know that there is VDubconf 0.2, but in order to use it i have to wait for the audio and the credits to be done...
Another suggestion in an option to close GKnot when done (beside the shutdown when done) because i use Windows ME and it doesn't like shutdown commands... and i have to use MrShutdown, with GKnot it doesn't work because GKnot stays open...
(Sorry for the crappy English...)
Thank you for your attention,
Manatu

What do you mean? during playback? using WMP? Whe using WMP, that's normal, it happens to me all the time. I just wait a few seconds and it continues playing normally.

I don't think it's GKnot's bug, GKnot is avisynth-frameserving tool and not encoder. VDub is doing the encoding routine.

nop.. i use CBR MP3.
I know that GKnot doesnīt encode, but it sets the codec and vdub. But i really donīt understand why it works with 5.0.1 and not with 5.0.2...
