SVCD: Splitting it up

I need to know how I cut a SVCD in two pieces. I have a 1.1Gb big SVCD and need to split it into two 500.05mb files, how do I do this?
If you know a program, please write how I do it.

You should be able to use the mpeg tools of tmpg to accomplish this.
Load the file - Mark the middle of the file as the end point - Save as pt 1. Load the original again - mark the middle as the start point - save as pt 2

i have a problem for merging two mpeg files with tmpeg, because the result gives me one file but with just one audio stream ...
