Help! Error w/ Nero Burning

Please help guys!!! Today is a very bad day for me. I got an error with nero while trying to burn a dvd. The error is:

! DVD files reallocation failed.

If anyone had encountered and solved this problem, please help. I'm totally desperate and can't sleep.:( :confused:

I encountered the same problem, I think...

The solution to my problem was to disable the "simulation" upon burning...

Hope this helps in some fashion...

This error means that NERO couldn't find all the files that it needed to make the DVD. Make sure that you have all you VIDEO_TS.IFO, .BUP and VTS_01_1.IFO, .VOB and .BUP in the NERO folder. That should fix this problem.

Tried it, still won't work. I upgraded to version 5.5.8.2 when this happened. Downgraded back to 5.5.8.0 and everythings ok now. I guess the latest version has a problem. Thanks for your help.

I am having the same problem. I went back to an earlier version of Nero(5.5.6.9) and and the DVD-R I burned won't work in my set top and PS2! The DVD-R I'm trying to burn is one I split using IFO Edit. I burned a DVD-R that worked using Nero 5.5.8.2 that worked, but no rellocation problem because it was not a split, I guess. I do not have access to Nero 5.5.8.0 and only the newest version can be downloaded from Nero.com. I've read in a couple of guides that I really need the newest version of Nero to make DVD-R's that will work in my set top, too bad it won't burn the split DVD. I'm going to try PrimoDVD now.
