What DVD movie authoring software would you recommend that can open VOB files directly.
If you know where i can get it (I'm in the UK) that would be a bonus.
PS
Does anyone know where i can get copies of
Prassi Primo DVD
Spruce Up (full version if possible)

This may or may not help you.
You can use Nero to burn VOB files directly, but you must be familiar with DVD directory structures. It's not that simple to explain.
The other option would be to convert the vob to an mpeg and then import it to your authoring software.
What is the main reason you are trying import VOB directly?
I'll reply quicker if you post a question on http://www.ac3music.com

Why not just get hold of VOBrator, or V-Strip to demux the VOBs into their component parts, then put it all together in Spruce Maestro? You'd have trouble with chapter points and subtitles, but otherwise it would make things very quick and easy.
If you don't mind me saying so, your question seems rather illogical. I appreciate that you don't want to have to bother de-muxing, but the whole point of VOBs (VideoObjects) is that they are a COMBINATION of MPEG streams and authored commands, graphic elements, and markers. If you are intending to re-author (that is, after all, what DVD-AUTHORING applications do), then you will, by virtue of this fact, be creating your OWN commands and markers, which will be output to your own VOBs. What use, then, do you have for importing original commands and markers which you fully intend to discard/replace with your own anyway??
Am I missing something here..?
Arky ;o)
