Hell, I'm going crazy

After auto-repairing my WinXP system I've serious trouble to get OGM files playing again. I tried WMP, Zoomplayer and Bsplayer - they are crashing right after opening the file, while Bsplayer produced the following error log:

*Unhandled Exception*

The OGM contains DivX5.02 video (or XviD...same crash) and two audio streams, muxed with OggMux. These files played fine before! So, what the hell do I have to do besides installing latest OggDS??

Please, any help to track down the problem is VERY appreciated. I could kill myself for screwing up my system

Auto repair is mostly useless. :( It can at best fix only very simple problems. Either restore your ghost or reinstall. :(

I had the exact same problem in BSPlayer. They played in Mediaplayer (old and new) however ..

The problem is VobSub .. after I moved the .srt file containing subtitles to another location, the ogm-files played fine.

try using the original divx decoder filter and see if that helps

if you have enabled smooth playback in the divx decoder tab. disable it and the other stuff there to and see if it helps.

because I could play avis with all settings but the ogm files would crash when I had smooth playback on.
the first one in the list.
