Hi

is it possible to convert a full screen 4:3 video to 16:9 wide aspect ratio
...??

can anybody tell me how can I convert them...??

There would be no point, you've lost half of the movie already by it being 4:3. Converting it to 16:9 won't bring it back, you can't bring back what you don't have to begin with. When a movie is blown up to 4:3, about 25% of the picture goes right off each edge of you screen, so you lose up to 50%. To blow up a 16:9 rectangle to fit in a 4:3 square you blow it up til it fills the screen top and bottom and all that picture that now won't fit in the width you have gets chopped off. This is why 4:3 is so damn stupid, they make movies 16:9 and they want you to see the whole picture, then they blow them up to 4:3 and you miss half the movie, this is why directors hate to see their movies on TV. Its like one director said about the chariot race in Ben Hur, that as letterbox its awesome as hell and one of the greatest scenes ever filmed, but as 4:3 its a jumble of horses feet and horses butts and you can't even tell what the hell is going on
