How to change chapters afterwards

Hi Folks

After reinstalling 1.0.9build 2 the chapters button was set to 60 fixed chapters instead of DVD Chapters.
Now after a whole night of encoding I don't want to do this all again. I assume, only in the last process (VXDBuild) the chapter are inserted. I have the "DVD2SVCD chapters file.ini", can I just alter something in the "project file.ds2" and re-run crash-recovery from a point after video-encoding ?

You can use ChapterXtractor to extract the chapters timestamp and edit the file "dvd2svcd chapters file.ini" (i think this have to work)
otherwise you can use vcdeasy, a simple program with burning capabilities to create SVCD with chapters and menu.

Hi Lance,

see the "dvd2svcd chapters file.ini" it should already contain the original DVD chapters no matter if the option "Fixed chapters" was selected before.

So you just have to go to the "Misc." tab, hit "Recover", select the "dvd2svcd project file.d2s" file and then go to the "CD Image" tab and select the "DVD chapters" option. Then go back to the "Misc." tab and continue from the "SVCD Authoring" step - that should do the trick. ;)
